So, I've been using this a lot with my boy. And sometimes he'd eat some food right after I washed his hands with the sanitizer. I have never actually noticed him getting 'high' but it scares me to think of what could have happened if...

From now on, I'd use wet towels to wash his hands and only use hand sanitizer as a last resort but with caution.

This piece of news saddened me as the student and especially her baby shouldn't have died. The circumstances of her death is still unknown. However, if she had only gone to a proper clinic or if she had called or told someone both of them would still be alive.

Of course the society would probably talk (not necessarily good) about her, her baby and her family but they'd be alive. The baby would have had a chance to experience life.

This article got me wondering if our local pools here in KK are well maintained. Maybe the pool at the Sports Complex isn't as clean as it should be, especially the kids pool. The last time I was there with Jeremy, there were tree leaves in the pool as well as some kind of debris.

The pool at KGC looks clean but sometimes I could smell the distinct smell of chlorine. At least this pool is used by less people. So, logically it's cleaner. At least to me it is.

Shopping with recycle bag

I went grocery shopping today and I remembered to bring my recycle bags with me. I feel quite pleased with myself that I only used 2 plastic bags (both for vegetables). At least a marked improvement to my usual grocery shopping where I have to carry 3 to 4 plastic bags back to my car.

Hopefully I'll be able to remember more often in the future to use the recycle bags.

Now I've got to start recycling at home!

Lunch with colleagues

Had lunch with my IT colleagues this afternoon to celebrate my birthday. We shared 4 regular pizzas among the 6 of us. We had Super Supremes, Thai Seafood, Royal Masala & Hawaiian Supreme. I ordered the Office Deal #1 which also comes with 2 1.5L Pepsi and 2 Garlic Breads. All came up to RM77. Not a bad deal!
